One Piece‘s creator Eiichiro Oda and Detective Conan’s creator Gosho Aoyama recently collaborated for a special interview.
The interview was split into two parts and appeared in the August 2022 issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. One Piece has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since July 1997, and Detective Conan has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday since January 1994.
One Piece and Detective Conan received a crossover cover to commemorate this legendary interview in the August 2022 issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday and the August 2022 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.
The August 2022 issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday also includes a postcard featuring the crossover illustration.
