Swaps4 at Tokyo Game Show 2026

This year, we had the honor of exhibiting at Tokyo Game Show 2026, one of the world’s largest gaming events.

Our booth was located in Hall 9, Booth 09-E67, where we spent the event showcasing our upcoming game Project Gears, meeting players and industry partners, and introducing more people to the work we do across Swaps4 Productions, Subarashii Studios, and Kagura Games.

Showcasing Project Gears

The main attraction at our booth this year was Project Gears, an upcoming game developed by Three Gears and jointly published by Swaps4 Productions and Subarashii Studios.

We had a playable demo available throughout Tokyo Game Show, allowing attendees to experience Project Gears firsthand.

Members of the Three Gears development team also joined us at the booth, allowing them to interact directly with players, watch how people approached the game, and gather valuable feedback in real time.

The experience was incredibly useful for the development team. Rather than simply collecting feedback and reviewing it after the event, the team worked hard every day to implement improvements and push new demo builds based on what they saw and heard from players.

Being able to make changes throughout the event and see how players responded was a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved.

Meeting Players and Industry Partners

Tokyo Game Show also let us meet an incredible number of people across the gaming industry.

Throughout the event, we welcomed players, developers, publishers, content creators, and other industry professionals to our booth. We had great conversations, received plenty of useful feedback, and made new connections we hope to keep building on in the future.

Most importantly, it was great to see so many people stop by and enjoy Project Gears. Watching people experience the game in person and hearing their thoughts directly was one of the event’s highlights.

Kagura Games Localization and Marketing

Alongside Project Gears, we showcased Kagura Games’ localization and marketing services.

Kagura Games provides professional localization services in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, alongside publishing, marketing, and promotional support.

With extensive experience bringing games to international audiences, their goal is to help developers overcome the challenges involved in releasing their games in new markets, from localization and publishing to marketing and community outreach.

We worked with the Kagura Games team to introduce these services to developers from Japan and around the world, and we had productive discussions about potential future collaborations.

Thank You for Visiting Us!

Tokyo Game Show 2026 was an incredible experience for everyone involved.

We want to give a huge thank you to the Three Gears team for their hard work throughout the event, especially their dedication to continuously improving the Project Gears demo based on player feedback.

We’d also like to thank everyone who stopped by the Swaps4 Booth at Hall 09-E67, played Project Gears, spoke with our team, or came over to say hello.

This was an important event for us, and the experience has given us plenty of ideas on how to make our presence at future events even bigger and better.

We hope to see you again at Tokyo Game Show!
