The Animate Cafe 3 shop in Ikebukuro is currently hosting the 5th Hunter x Hunter cafe collaboration which focuses on the Zoldyck Family and will run until the 29th of October. I’m a huge fan of Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter series, so I made sure to check out the event.
The cafe event featured various character cutouts and illustrations of the Zoldyck Family across the cafe, multiple TV screens playing clips from the anime series and advertising the mobile games, various OST tracks being played in the background, memorable scenes from the anime on the walls, themed food and drink (random character coaster with each purchase), and limited merchandise for sale.
If you don’t have an Animate Cafe point card, you can pick up a new one which is themed after the current collaboration. They also give you a random trading card featuring one of the many characters from the event.
