Mister Donut’s Pokémon Collection 2024

As the year comes to a close and the weather turns chilly, the annual collaboration between Mister Donut and The Pokémon Company is here to bring some festive cheer.

Diglett takes center stage this Christmas season with its debut in a new donut creation, the “Pon de Digda.” This treat cleverly combines “Digda” (Diglett’s Japanese name) with the beloved Pon de Ring—a unique fusion of classic American-style donuts and Japanese mochi.

Diglett is crafted from a cream-filled choux pastry, much like an éclair, and coated in caramel-flavored chocolate. The “ground” it emerges from features crunchy chocolate pieces layered over a custard cream topping Pon de Ring. Diglett was quite a hit, and by the time I arrived to pick up my pre-order, it had already sold out for walk-in customers. The Diglett donut costs 313 yen each (approximately $2.03 USD).

Making its sixth appearance, if I’m not mistaken, is the Pikachu donut, filled with a rich custard pudding cream and coated in chocolate. Pikachu is priced at 313 yen each (about $2.03 USD).

The iconic Poké Ball donut has returned, featuring a soft choux pastry texture topped with white chocolate and strawberry sugar. It is priced at 248 yen each (about $1.61 USD).

This year’s offerings also include the Pikachu Custard Chocolate and Dugtrio Caramel Chocolate donuts, each priced at 216 yen (about $1.40 USD).

The box features adorable illustrations of Pikachu and Diglett.

The take-out bag showcases various Pokémon popping out of donuts.

Mister Donut also offers limited Pokémon goods that are part of a set. We decided to go with the Diglett-themed blanket this year.

For a limited time, Mister Donut offers exclusive sets with special edition Pokémon items!

The first take-out set includes two Pokémon donuts, one Pon de Wreath (in a flavor of the customer’s choice), and a Pokémon blanket of their choice, all for 1,990 yen (about $12.94 USD).

The second take-out set includes one Pokémon donut, one Pon de Wreath (also in a chosen flavor), and a collectible Pokémon glass for 990 yen (about $6.44 USD).
