Earlier this month, I wrote about the Diablo Garlic Double Cheeseburger, a unique collaboration between Diablo Immortal and Burger King Japan.
I finally got around to trying it and was left rather impressed. The Diablo Garlic Double Cheeseburger features two 100% beef patties grilled over an open flame with four slices of cheese, topped with spicy smoked chili flakes and a spicy garlic sauce. The burger costs 1390 yen (US$9.63).
The burger was gigantic compared to burgers served in restaurants in Japan. The spicy smoked chili flakes were spicy, adding a nice crunch texture to the burger that infused the flavors with each bite. The beef patties were thick and coated in the spicy garlic sauce, and the melted cheddar cheese perfectly helped combine all the flavors. I’m not fond of spicy food, but this burger was very spicy and had an addictive taste.
