On the 15th of October, the legendary five-story arcade facility Anata no Warehouse (Your Warehouse) located in Kawasaki announced that they will be closing its doors for good on the 17th of November, 2019. This is rather unfortunate news for many people who are into video games and even sadder because it’s one of Japan’s most unique arcades.
The arcade is designed to look like the former Kowloon Walled City in Hong Kong and features cyberpunk and dystopian aesthetics.
Since the announcement of the closing of such a legendary piece of Japanese arcade history, I decided to give it a visit. On the day I visited, it was thriving and full of people.
Anata no Warehouse is located in Kawasaki, roughly 5 minutes from the station.
