I previously covered the first part of Coco’s X Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game Anniversary Campaign 2024 ran from November 12 to December 2, 2024. With the second part kicking off earlier this month, I’m excited to dive into the details. You can read my article about the first part of the campaign here.
For each purchase from Coco’s x Yu-Gi-Oh! Menu, customers will receive 1 random OCG or Rush Duel card. The OCG cards on offer during part 2 are Number F0: Utopic Future, Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon, Decode Talker, and Steam Knight – Hamburk, while the Rush Duel cards on offer are Transam Linac, Voidverg Requiem, Super Assistant Achi, and Cocopurin the Princess of Happiness.
The first Yu-Gi-Oh! themed dish draws inspiration from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!! anime series and features curry bread and curry pasta. This dish combines a spicy curry sauce pasta topped with crispy curry bread. Beneath the curry bread lies a silky onsen egg and cheese, and when mixed, it creates a smooth and mellow flavor to balance the spice. This dish cost 1,419 yen ($9.23 USD).
The second themed dish is a parfait inspired by the iconic Dark Magician Girl! This delightful dessert starts with a coffee jelly base, layered with chocolate-flavored shaved ice, and crowned with ice cream, whipped cream, frozen mango, a piece of chocolate cake, and colorful crunchy crackling pieces. A drizzle of chocolate completes the magical treat. The Dark Magician Girl parfait costs 1,119 yen ($7.27 USD).
This dish was a unique experience for me, as I’ve never ordered something that looked so different from its picture on the menu, especially with a collaboration dish. When it arrived, I noticed it was missing the Dark Magician Girl’s staff, the piece of chocolate cake, and the chocolate sauce. However, the waitress was very polite and quick to resolve the issue. It was a fun experience to piece it together.
We also ordered some of the regular menu items CoCo’s offers like the crispy potato fries for 495 yen ($3.22 USD), popcorn shrimp for 429 yen ($2.79 USD), and the rich beef stew hamburger steak with a potato for 1,199 yen ($7.79 USD).
Fans of Yu-Gi-Oh! can enjoy delicious themed dishes while collecting unique cards during this limited-time celebration! Here are the cards I was able to collect.
