The cabbages featured in the first season of KonoSuba have now taken over Tsumagoi in Gunma, a village famous for being Japan’s largest exporter of cabbage.
In recognition of this collaboration, Tsumagoi Village in Gunma Prefecture has appointed the KonoSuba characters—Aqua, Darkness, Kazuma, and Megumin—as Tsumagoi Village Cabbage Ambassadors.
The KonoSuba x Tsumagoi Village collaboration will run until April 2025. During this event, visitors can enjoy new illustrations of the KonoSuba crew displayed on flags and cardboard cutouts.
Additionally, the giant toad from the second episode of KonoSuba will be part of the collaboration until June 25, 2025, serving as a photo spot at Manza-Kazawaguchi Station, where visitors can step inside its mouth and pretend to be swallowed.
A special collaboration cafe menu is also available at the Tsumagoi Village Tourist Information Centre, featuring items like the Cabbage Sundae, Cabbage Shuwashuwa Soda, and Cabbage Stuffed Meat Buns. Collaboration goods are also available for purchase.
