The Japanese family restaurant Coco’s is holding an anniversary campaign for the Yu-Gi-Oh! series from November 12.
The first part of the campaign is currently being held from November 12, 2024 to December 2, 2024 and 4 different OCG and Rush Duel cards are being distributed.
For each purchase from Coco’s x Yu-Gi-Oh! Menu, customers will receive 1 random OCG or Rush Duel card. The OCG cards on offer are Dark Magician Girl, Elemental HERO Flame Wingman, Junk Warrior, and Steam Knights-BULLlauncher, while the Rush Duel cards on offer are Sevens Road Witch, Yamiruler the Dark Delayer, Royal Rebel’s Heavy Metal, and Cocosh the Spellcaster of Happiness.
The first Yu-Gi-Oh! themed dish is a meatball dish based on the Multiply spell card and the Kuriboh monster, a popular card used by Yami Yugi in the series. The dish features 5 meatballs that are supposed to resemble Kuriboh, with a meat sauce base combined with pizza sauce. The dish included a Kuriboh-themed pick, costing 1,309 yen ($8.48 USD).
The second themed dish is a parfait modeled after the Princess of the Flock – Miss Mutton card from Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!. This dessert showcases cotton candy, strawberry shaved ice, and panna cotta, perfectly capturing the soft, fluffy essence of the character. The beautifully presented parfait is priced at 1,199 yen (about $7.77 USD).
We also ordered some of the regular menu items CoCo’s offers, like the double hamburger set for 1,089 yen ($7.06 USD) and the beef hamburger steak and cut steak set for 1,419 yen ($9.19 USD).
From December 3, 2024, to December 23, 2024, Coco’s Restaurant will offer new Yu-Gi-Oh! themed dishes that include a curry bread and curry pasta dish inspired by the Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!! anime series, as well as a parfait dedicated to the iconic Dark Magician Girl.
The cards offered in the second part of the campaign are OCG cards featuring Number F0: Utopic Future, Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon, Decode Talker, and Steam Knight – Hamburk, while the Rush Duel cards on offer are Transam Linac, Voidverg Requiem, Super Assistant Achi, and Cocopurin the Princess of Happiness.
Fans of Yu-Gi-Oh! can enjoy delicious themed dishes while collecting unique cards during this limited-time celebration! I’m looking forward to going back in December. Here are the cards I was able to collect.
