Over the course of the past 4 years, Haruhichan has done its best to keep you up to date with the latest anime and Japanese pop culture related news, information, music as well as exclusive magazine scans, content and aggregating anime fansub resources that are added within days (sometimes hours) of an episode airing.
We at Haruhichan do our absolute best to provide our community with all the information needed as well as foster an atmosphere for discussion. A small team of dedicated users have come together to provide everyone with these resources for absolutely no cost – moreover, we take absolutely zero ad revenue as the site is completely ad free – all we run are JList/Amazon affiliations but they do not affect the site browsing experience in any way, as one can tell by simply looking through the site.
Unfortunately however, with the piling on of server costs, resource acquisition for certain reviews as well as all the various expenses and fees that add up over the course of time, this is no small feat.
As we have noticed, our readership is a very loyal group who visits and uses our resources regularly. And we are very thankful for it! We love providing for each and every one of you. But this is where we need your help. In order to keep this site running, we need additional support from the community.
We have a Patreon account set up for you to make monthly donations, or one time donation to our site. As we do not run any sort of ad networks, this is essential for us to keep the project alive. Alternatively, if one uses the Amazon or JList links or simply switches their existing Amazon or JList bookmark with Haruhichan‘s Amazon or JList link as their bookmark, we get a small commission each time you make a purchase through the link – so if nothing else, it would help us if you were to make yours through there. You can also use coupon code MOE-N3Y-4YW0QK to get 5% off all orders on JList.
Even the smallest of pledges of a dollar a month work towards our overall goal and we at the team would be very grateful. It adds up to less than the cost of a cup of coffee or a bag of chips – it’s much less than any sort of monthly subscription service, but with everyone working together, we are sure that it will help. Anything you can afford, we will appreciate wholeheartedly.
In return, people who donate will get that warm, fuzzy feeling of satisfaction of contributing to something greater – of having the knowledge that they kept this project afloat. Of course, you will also have our gratitude!
